Position: Waiter/Waitress (1 Post)

Reporting to: Restaurant Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Ensure you are neatly dressed and wearing a badge.
• Greet customers with a smile and show them their tables.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
• Inform customers about the day’s specials.
• Offer menu recommendations upon request.
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a notepad and pen.
• Ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Serve food and drink orders.
• Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
• Follow all relevant health department regulations.

Education & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering systems.
• Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Bar and barista skills will be an added advantage.
• Attentiveness and patience for customers.
• High level of personal hygiene.
• Excellent presentation skills.
